Autoscroll
Autoscroll slowly moves the preview for hands-free reading or proofing. It is separate from the Table of Contents and Mini Map; it scrolls the current view automatically.
Starting and stopping
Trigger autoscroll by pressing S. The preview scrolls forward at the current speed.
An indicator at the bottom-left shows the speed. Adjust it with the Up and Down arrow keys; hold Shift with the arrows for larger steps.
Return (⏎) pauses or resumes scrolling.
⇧+S reverses scroll direction while autoscroll is active.
Press S again, or Escape, to leave autoscroll mode.
When using Marked like a teleprompter, you can add scripted pauses in the Markdown source—see Autoscroll pauses under Marked Special Syntax.
